Why I Became Involved: After a few glasses of adult beverage, Fairy Brutal convinced me that trying out for roller derby was a reasonable idea. Turns out she was right!
Why I Skate: Moving fast keeps my hair off my face.
Embarrasing Moment: Starting to skate around the rink for tryouts and falling right on my butt.
Favorite Fresh Meat Moment: Getting sick during my level one pre-assessments during the timed 20 laps, throwing up in my mouth, and finishing anyway. I'm sorry, were you eating?
Favorite Derby Memory: Getting lead jammer my jammer debut in River City.

Bad Habit: Forgetting where my center of balance is, not drinking enough water during the day, forgetting to eat
Derby Heroes: Can I copy the teams page and paste it here? Everyone in this league is amazing. The women who balance life and derby are all heroes. Princess America is the skater I remember to this day from watching my first bout back in 2005. And I wouldn't be here without the amazing support and confidence from Fairy Brutal!
