Twenty Lap Time: 5:26 - don't judge me!
Favorite Move: Its a tie between the "Put Your Butt On Her Va-Jay-Jay" and the "MacTruck".
Skating Since: Eversince my mommy bought me a plastic pair of skates in the 80s and I wobbled up and down the block. Thanks for the push mom!

Crosstraining: Plyometrics, Treadmill, Yoga and Dancing...(very unprofessionally).
Derby Diary
Joined CRG: Late 06?, Left (big mistake), Back For Good!
Debut: 6:29am, a chilly Sunday morning at Brooklyn Hospital. The doctor cut the cord, slapped my booty and then I hip checked him.
Teams Played For: Trauma Queens & CRG Bootleggers
Favorite Opponent: I had a blast playing against Texas, because THEY know how to have fun (: It was not only a joy smashing into them on the rink, but it was hella' fun shakin' our fancies together at the afterparty! "Party over here, word!"
Favorite Location: Dorton Arena for sure!
Favorite Surface: The ones that aren't uneven and dirty...wtf?
Why I Became Involved: Roller Derby is a place where: I can feel encouraged and supported. Feel a sense of teamwork & sisterhood. Travel the country. Achieve physical goals & stay fit/healthy. Release angst and stress. Overcome my fear of failure. Learn to see the successes in myself & others rather than the failures. Ultimately I wanted to do something that would make my Father proud of me for being a self disciplined and strong woman.
Why I Skate: I CONTINUE to skate because it builds self confidence, keeps me in good shape, allows me to spend time with amazing women, gives me something to put good energy into and something that allows me to release BAD energy. In a "safe" and Legal manner, that is.
Embarrasing Moment: More like momentS! Those times that I have fallen backwards on my own skate and bruised my tailbone. When I dislocated my thumb, busted my lip, hairline fractured my shin, tripped myself, tripped my OWN jammer!, got punched in the throat, fell on my boobies, twisted my ankle, crashed into a Ref, crashed into the wall, crashed into the crowd, had my stretchy pants pulled down...I could go on and on, you really don't have time for this...
Favorite Fresh Meat Moment: Being told that I no longer SUCKED at baseball slides. Yay!
Favorite Derby Memory: Really whenever my team hits the floor and works together as a strong, confident unit, it sticks in my mind. I keep the positive derby memories close.
Likes: Passionate & Smart People, Mohawks, FREE Beer (PBR Please!), High Fives, ICY HOT, Teamwork, Eyeliner, Jump Turns, Loud Folks & DESTRUCTION!
Dislikes: People that think being a lazy $#^*@$$ is an incurable disease. Don't be an Epic Failure, JUST TRY FOR GOODNESS SAKES!!
Bad Habit: You want me to tell you so you can use it against me? I think not!
Derby Heroes: Any female athlete who gives 100% to herself, her team and the sport of Roller Derby overall. Did I mention that I love Carolina Roller Girls?
Inspiration For Name: Well its no secret, I was named after Lady Day herself (Billie Holiday). But I have to give credit to my friend Troy Martin for thinking up "Brawliday". (Oh Troy, you know me too well!) The number 1954 is for my dad, Reuben Jackson, as it is the year he was born. Although he didn't live to see me play my first derby game, he's "got my back" at every bout. Together we hit b*tches!!
Food Before A Bout: PB&J Sam'miches, gallons of Vitamin Water, Orange slices, MILK, Spaghetti, Bananas...not all at the same time of course.
Theme Song: "Don't Stop Me Now" -by Queen. (Yeah, check those lyrics out!)
