Why I Became Involved: I had a friend who joined CRG and brought me to some speed practices, but I thought I was too busy to get much more involved. And then I watched a bout of the Tucson home teams when I was out in AZ in May of '07, and it just hit me..."I need to go home and practice right now! I really want to do that!"
Why I Skate: Well, in what other sport would the considerable size of my hips come in handy?
Embarrasing Moment: My whole first jam at Dorton. Really. There's video to back me up on this.
Favorite Fresh Meat Moment: Knocking someone down with a good hit for the first time.
Favorite Derby Memory: It has to be watching CRG beat Kansas by one point in the last few minutes of the bout in December. That was just beautiful.
Likes: Pink and black stuff with skulls on it
Bad Habit: Elbows, not getting up fast enough from my falls
Derby Heroes: Roxy Rockett, Celia Fate, Denise Lightning...all of CRG, really.
