Why I Became Involved: I attended a game and immediately realized derby was the most amazing thing I'd ever seen.
Why I Skate: I had to learn to skate so I could play derby.
Embarrasing Moment: Hmmm, I don't know...I'm really proud of all the ways I've managed to fall down, from the beautifully intricate to the completely idiotic alike.
Favorite Derby Memory: Getting to go to WFTDA Nationals as a member of the Carolina Rollergirls. That, or the one time my mother watched me play...she watched a game live on the internet and called me after to say, "They said your name! 'Olivia Oblivia' or whatever it is." Thanks, Mom.
Likes: Holding the line, especially when there's someone I thinkink of as AMAZING behind me and they can't get by. (I do think everyone is amazing though)
Dislikes: Having someone (like Deviled Legs) jump over me while I think I'm holding the line. Although, I find that really awesome too. I love roller derby!
Derby Heroes: Every past, present, and future CRG. Although some of my all-time favorites are Kitty Crowbar, Leadfoot, Julie Jawbreaker, Princess America, Roxy Rockett, and DVS.
